The Phabrix PHQXP01E-3G-G is a QxP 3U SD/HD/2K 10GbE IP/SDI Waveform Monitor/Analyzer with Eye/Jitter and G-mount allowing the unit to be powered by an external camera battery. Please note, the battery is not included. A wide range of field and factory fitted options are available.
The Phabrix QxP features an integral 3U, multi-touch LCD screen with class-leading Waveforms in a portable unit. A choice of V-mount or Gold mount (G-mount) battery plate is available for portability, making the QxP equally at home on-set in SDR or HDR Productions, Grading, Shading, or QC, MCR, Engineering and R&D environments.
Inheriting the flexible architecture of the QxL, the QxP includes SMPTE ST 2110, 2022-6 and a wide range of formats as standard. In-field upgrades are available for a rich set of options: UHD/4K, IP-MEAS, HDR, Dolby E decode, PCAP capture, EUHD and extensive Audio/ Video/ANC te++st signal generation. Factory-fitted options provide SDI interfaces and RTE™ real-time SDI eye/jitter analysis, with an engineering grade data view and an optional, advanced SDI-STRESS toolset.
For real-time IP workflows the QxP supports simultaneous Generation and Analysis of SD*/HD/3G/UHD/EUHD 2110 payloads on generic SFP28/25 GbE interfaces, with ST 2022-7 Seamless IP Protection Switching (SIPS) and independent PTP followers on both media ports for fully redundant media network operation – all with AMWA NMOS IS-04 and IS-05. *Future software release
Analysis and Monitoring Toolset
Picture view, waveform, vector scope, 32 channel audio metering, detection of Dolby formats, ANC status and payload, on screen display of OP47 and CEA-608 in 708 closed captions and Ancillary Time Code (ATC), and advanced control and logging are all provided as standard.
User Defined Instrument Layout
Out of the box, the QxP offers external media analysis for broadcast operator HD/3G environments via HDMI, with a flexible user-defined instrument layout displaying up to 16 simultaneous windows, and the ability to rapidly change between bespoke layouts for different operational tasks with user presets. Multiple display layouts can be saved as presets. This allows users to save bespoke layouts for different operational tasks; useful for rapidly changing between different screen layouts eg. Audio, HDR or IP focus.
Whether working in HD, UHD, SDR, HDR, SDI or IP, conventional or remote production, the QxP combines the user-configurability and advanced tools required for full operational flexibility when transitioning to next generation workflows.
Fast, automated 12G-SDI physical layer analysis
The Physical Layer Toolset is a factory-fitted option for fast 12G/6G/3G/HD/SD*-SDI† physical layer commissioning, testing and development. Its RTE (Real-Time Eye) Technology instantly highlights any SMPTE compliance issues, and its real-time SDI jitter window provides simultaneous monitoring across five specified frequency bands, jitter histogram and video trigger options. Built-in automation control allows testing to be performed faster, more reliably and at lower cost. Included in the option are a full range of SDI eye measurements including amplitude, DC offset, transition times, overshoot and health indication with both amplitude and time histograms, as well as choice of color, heat-map overlays and infinite persistence
